If the motor is blocked (motor brake, does not spin freely) there is a short between the phases (mosfet or cables).
If error 18, the hall sensor is not receiving the 5v (or is broken).
If the motor vibrates, one or more halls are not connected / broken. |

Check resistors on controller (Should be 120ohm)
  Causes:
– Resistors on the ESC burned
– BMS problem (communication only)
– Problem with the connector
– Brake light connected and shorted (likely not the case if it turns on). |
